Mask

 I chose this mask because when I looked at it it made me think of happiness. This mask could be a he or she but to me it looks more like a girl just by the way her lips and eyes look. I could be wrong but thats what I think. She looks like the world will never end, like her life is great. She almost looks like she is in shock, like something good just happened. I do not know what they would have used this mask for though???

Today's Mayans

I think it is amazing how the Mayans have not been destroyed by others beliefs, religions, and way of living. It so cool that there are still over 6 million mayans in Guatemala, and that they still do their rituals to help heal the wounded and many other reasons. I think its sad that even to this day the mayans and the Mexican government are still in argue over things that happened many years ago. Why can't the Mexican government just be fair to them as they are to their own people.

My experience with Mexico or Guatemala, Belize, Honduras...

I have been to Mexico, i believe two times. I love the wild life there. When i think of Mexico i think of the amazing food because I love mexican food and it never tastes the same when you are in America. Another thing i think of is the beautiful ocean life because that is where i took my first snorkeling trip and the ocean has the coolest fish. My third reason is the difference in life styles, because although we are bordering countries we live totally different lives.
